The cultural network of Banco de la República (the Central Bank of Colombia) extends to 29 cities of the country through its Cultural Centers, which consist of one or more of these spaces: libraries, regional documentation centers, gold museums, and exhibition halls.

In Bogotá, there is the Luis Angel Arango Library (BLAA in Spanish) with its Concert Hall and its northern location, the Casa Gómez Campuzano. The BLAA leads a network of 22 libraries and five regional documentation centers in the same number of cities. There is also the Gold Museum, which leads a network of Gold Museums in five cities: Santa Marta, Cartagena, Armenia, Cali, and Pasto, and an Ethnographic Museum in Leticia. Also in Bogotá are the art museums of Banco de la República: the Botero Museum, the Miguel Urrutia Art Museum (MAMU in Spanish), and Casa de la Moneda Museum (The Mint Museum). In Medellín, there is the Philatelic Collection of Banco de la República, and at the Cultural Center, a sample of this collection is exhibited.

You should know: the cultural spaces of Banco de la República are periodically closed, and some spaces are closed due to renovation or new developments in the services. Therefore, before visiting our cultural centers, museums, or libraries, we recommend our users to consult the closure calendar.
